I work directly with merchants, building and supporting ecommerce websites on the Magento framework. I have been working with Magento almost exclusively for the last 6 years, and have extensive experience of Magento theming, module development and supporting complex Magento websites.
I started working with Liberty in Love in 2011 when their site was little more than a concept. Over the last 7 years Liberty in Love has grown from a startup to award winning online wedding accessory boutique.
In 2017 I begain a redesign and replatform project for Liberty in Love. This challenging project included a custom front-end theme build, custom module development and data migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2. The new Magento 2 site launched in March 2018. Along with the performance and security benefits of Magento 2, we saw a notable increase in engagement and conversion compared to their Magento 1 site.
When Function18 approached me in 2013, they were already running a busy website on the Magento platform and were looking for someone who could provide reliable ad-hoc support.
Ongoing development and continuous improvement supported rapid growth for Function18, culminating in a complete front-end overhaul towards the end of 2016. The site features a long list of usability enhancements, highlights including personalised recommendations, lookbooks and a quickshop feature. I continue to work closely with Function18's in-house design and marketing team to provide ongoing development and support.
Established in 1999, Note has grown to become one of the UK's leading skateboard retail brands. Note required a robust ecommerce platform to allow them to realise their bricks and mortar retail success on the web.
Following the original Magento build in 2012, I have worked closely with Note to identify opportunities to improve the site on an ongoing basis. The site has seen a rapid increase in sales over the last 5 years and was recently updated with a completely new front-end. The responsive Magento front-end includes a number of custom modules providing advanced search functionality, an Instore Checkout and Apple Pay integration. Further improvements were made to the Magento Admin in order to improve fulfilment and reporting.
Petit fashion a childrens clothing retailer, stocking the biggest brands for small people, from bespoke fashion houses like Oilily and Jessie & James, to some of the most recognisable brands in the world of fashion including Ralph Lauren Kids and Moschino.
I worked with Petit Fashion on a migration form a proprietary system to Magento Open Source, giving them a robust, scaleable platform on which they could build their business. After the dust had settled on the migration I build a new front-end theme and developed a number of custom modules, providing an enhanced shopping experience for international shoppers with localisation and the abiltiy to shop and pay in local currencies.
